Session Changes/Deferrals
ACER reminds candidates that when you book in for an exam, you are committing to this date and time.
Applicants are able to change their booking up to seven (7) business days prior to their allocated exam session.
Applicants are only permitted to make one change to their exam session, so please select carefully.

To change your session please sign in to the Candidate Registration Portal using the application ID provided to you by email.
Application ID number: XXXXXXXX
Password: (self-created during the registration process)
Please Note: Seats in each session will be allocated on a first-in, first-served basis. ACER and Victoria Police do not guarantee that applicants will be able to reserve a seat in any given session.
Sessions changes within seven (7) business days of allocated exam
If you need to change your session within seven (7) business days of the scheduled sitting, you may apply in writing to vicpol@acer.org
You must have a valid reason with supporting documentation (such as a medical certificate).
Non-attendance
If you book an exam session but do not attend without notifying ACER, your application to Victoria Police will be void and you risk a six (6) month delay in applying again.
