Refunds

Registration fees for the Victoria Police Entrance Exam will be refunded upon request up to seven (7) business days prior to your scheduled sitting; however, an administrative charge of $50 will be deducted.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to vicpol@acer.org

Candidates who register but do not sit (without notifying the ACER Victoria Police Office) should be aware that their registration fee will not be refunded, and such circumstances may eliminate them from applying to the Victoria Police for a period of 6 months from the scheduled test date which was not attended.

ACER reserves the right absolutely to refuse or cancel a registration in circumstances where a registration is not bona fide or the registration fee is not received seven (7) business days prior to a session booking.

REFUND TERMS: You may have legal rights and guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, including the right to a refund in certain circumstances. Nothing on this page purports to exclude, restrict or modify any of these legal rights or guarantees.

Candidates who miss an exam due to a proven medical issue are entitled to a deferral. This second opportunity is non-refundable.

PLEASE NOTE: ACER fulfils its commitment to you by reserving a place for you (which would otherwise be available to another candidate) in the Victoria Police Entrance Examination and making all necessary preparations (which need to be completed a reasonable time before you sit the Victoria Police Entrance Examination) for you to sit the test. If you are unable to participate in the Victoria Police Entrance Examination due to a change of mind, inconvenience or ineligibility, or you no longer need to sit, and you fail to notify ACER seven (7) business days in advance of your scheduled test, your registration fee will not be refunded (unless you have the right to a refund under Australian Consumer Law).
