The Victoria Police Entrance Examination is made up of eight (8) sections. All sections of the test are conducted online, using a computer. All candidates planning to sit the Victoria Police Entrance Examination will be required to register and attend an Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) test centre.

To be selected for progression to the next stage of the Victoria Police recruitment process, candidates must obtain a score at or above the pass marks listed in the table above.

*These assessments are scored against The Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) - the Australian standards for adult literacy, numeracy and digital literacy. A score of 111 or greater is equal to Exit level 3 of the ACSF. A score of 105 translates to just below ACSF Exit level 3.
